UAV Pilot

Job Title: Drone Pilot for Mapping and Surveying
Location: Various project sites (based on assignment)

We are seeking skilled Drone Pilots to join our team, specifically for mapping and surveying projects. This role will be very useful in delivering accurate and actionable aerial data to meet our clients needs, and each individual will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless operations and data precision.

Job Purpose

Operate drones for aerial data collection, photography, videography, mapping, and survey operations, ensuring safety, compliance, and high-quality deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate All drones (e.g., Phantom, Mavic, Matrice, or similar) for assigned projects (surveying, inspection, monitoring, photography, etc.).
• Conduct pre-flight and post-flight inspections, ensuring equipment readiness and safety.
• Plan and execute flight missions, including site assessment, airspace review, and risk mitigation.
• Collect, store, and transfer aerial data (photos, videos, LiDAR, or survey data).
• Maintain drone hardware, software, batteries, and accessories in good condition.
• Ensure compliance with DGCA aviation regulations and organization safety policies.
• Troubleshoot basic technical issues with drones and ground-control systems.
• Prepare and submit flight logs, reports, and data as required.

Qualifications & Skills

• DGCA Certified Drone Pilot License
• Hands-on experience with DJI drones (Phantom, Mavic, Matrice series preferred).
• Knowledge of drone flight planning software and mapping tools (DJI Pilot, DroneDeploy, Pix4D, etc.).
• Familiarity with GPS/DGPS integration and survey workflows.
• Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in the field under varied environmental conditions.
• Good communication and reporting skills.

Experience

• Minimum 1–3 years of professional drone piloting experience (or equivalent field experience).
• Experience in surveying, GIS, inspection, or aerial photography/videography preferred.

Additional Requirements

• Willingness to travel for field operations.
• Physically fit to handle fieldwork conditions.

Valid driving license preferred.
